Miss Lamiese Ismail first asked me to tell her what my symptoms were. She then conducted an extremely thorough examination and talked to me and her two colleagues as she was doing so. On further examination she decided to do a biopsy to confirm her thinking that there was nothing untoward. I was treated with politeness and consideration. I appreciated being talked to rather than being talked about as the examination/biopsy was done. Her two colleagues were also kind and considerate. I did not feel she was under time pressure to get through my appointment but took as long as was necessary.

Miss Ismail listened carefully to me. She treated me with kindness, courtesy and professionalism. I felt great confidence in her and was much reassured about the health problem I had. She explained the likely diagnosis and possible next steps with great clarity. She had to perform a minor but potentially quite painful procedure and did so with great care and attention to how I was coping.

She was very pleasant and took my details on the computer and was very explicit in explaining my situation and stating what was or was not needed going forward.

Miss Ismail is a fantastic doctor and I can't thank her enough for her kindness and understanding throughout the entire process, from consultation through to procedure she listened intently and explained clearly everything that will happen. I'd not been in hospital before and the process from start to finish was seamless and she really put me at ease as I was so nervous and daunted by it all Her secretary Zoe was also incredibly helpful and informative, answering questions quickly and keeping me updated. I'm extremely grateful to them both and I know if I have any issues in the future I will be in good hands with Miss Ismail.
